From Shoot to Success: Freeman’s Rapid Labor Recruiting Video

The Creative Journey:

For the past few months, I had the privilege of creative directing a project that took me on an immersive journey through the world of events and logistics. It all began with a week-long on-site shoot in Chicago, where I dove headfirst into the diverse positions and roles that Freeman offers. From carpenters and builders to electricians, AV specialists, and mechanical engineers, I gained a newfound appreciation for the intricate tapestry of skills that make our events a reality.

This crash course in the Events and Logistics industry was nothing short of amazing. It was a humbling experience to witness the dedication and expertise of our team members on the show floor. And let’s not forget the countless designers across the globe, logistics managers, and many more who play a vital role behind the scenes, ensuring our events run seamlessly.

A Collaborative Effort with an Accelerated Timeline:

Our creative journey took an unexpected turn when we realized the urgency of our project. Originally planned for a two to three-month timeline, we faced a pressing need to share our labor recruiting video with the world. Within just three weeks after shooting, we were able to turn our vision into a reality.

This incredible feat wouldn’t have been possible without the collaboration and dedication of our team. While our crew captured the essence of our industry, we joined forces with RedProductionsfor the video’s editing. This collaboration added an extra layer of creativity and expertise to our project, and I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire team in Fort Worth for their outstanding contribution.

The Unintended Value:

What began as a project with a specific goal in mind has now evolved into something much greater. Our labor recruiting video has become a beacon, shining a light on the incredible work we do at Freeman. It is being embraced and utilized across the company, and to my amazement, it has garnered the personal recognition of our CEO, Janet Dellherself. This unexpected value demonstrates the power of our collective efforts and the impact we can have on our industry.

Looking Ahead to 2024:

As we head into the new year, let’s set the bar high for 2024. Our labor recruiting video is just one of the many tools we have developed to attract exceptional talent to our company. With more than 100 open roles across Freeman, this video, along with your referrals, will play a pivotal role in finding the right people to join our mission of connecting people in meaningful ways.

I couldn’t be prouder of the journey we’ve undertaken and the recognition we’ve received. Together, we are shaping the future of events and logistics, and I am excited to see the impact we will continue to make in the year ahead.

Here’s to a successful and transformative 2024!
